TikTok Appoints Former Disney Executive as New CEO

Kevin Mayer, who was once widely assumed to be the next head of Disney, was this week appointed the new CEO at TikTok. Mayer will not only take on the role of TikTok CEO, but will also act as COO of the brand’s parent company, ByteDance.
